Free Culture in the Making


Back in the 80's, an American composer and producer (I'm pretty sure it was Stu Phillips, of The Six Million Dollar Man, McCloud, Battlestar Galactica and The Amazing Spider-Man themes fame) composed the theme for
the TV series Knight Rider in the 80's.

10 years later, an unknown British Indian musician, Panjabi MC, mixed it with bhangra music and created an unprecedented underground success, in particular thanks to the still new and expanding Internet.

Almost 10 more years later, the world can enjoy this cultural fusion performance called Flamenco Fantasy by the group Andalucia in Rome, Olimpic Theatre, june 2006.
