I have been experimenting with Linux for some time and have tested Xandros and Ubuntu. It was interesting reading about the Linux users group in Trinidad as I know that the UWI Open Campus there has also been teaching elements of Linux. For my part, anytime you change from Windows, you end up in trouble with the majority of users, but with more exposure to the Ubuntu/Linux systems we may be able to get over that hurdle. This is definitely a way to go.

I would like to commend the webmaster and his team on this wonderful website that has emerged. This is a great testimony to the enterprise of our Caribbean peoples.

At the moment, there is a special Caribbean edition of the course in "Quality in Basic Education". This is a great opportunity to take part in what would be a wonderful educational experience.
