TThe convergence of telecommunications and information technology is posing new challenges to legislators and policymakers throughout the world. In the Caribbean in particular, new entrants and multinational companies shake the Caribbean markets and threaten the monopolies that long existed in the region.

This channel will be used to discuss the challenges the Caribbean countries face in the regulation of ICTs in the region, to compare and share experiences, and to advocate for the right and sound policies that can foster the development of ICTs in the region by promoting competition, innovation and the emergence of new entrepreneurs and companies in the region.
